A must stay when in Zanzibar. Suleiman and we had a chance to see dolphins on private boat trip for reasonable price which is hard to find here in Zanzibar. The staff was very friendly and kind. You should NEVER say to which hotel you are staying as you might be robbed at night or simply walking on the beach. Water collects and the smell is awful due to puddles next to the shower. For the breakfast drinks you have only instant coffee and teabags.
But we liked it! The food is amazing and the staff really nice. The food is fresh and the prices are okay. Highly recommend this bar. Perfecy managment, super comfortable rooms. Everywhere a round villa is clean, inside too. Very friendly staff, very hospitable owner. Nice restaurant, very delicious meal. Upon arrival the manager Suleiman impressed us with his hospitality and friendliness.
He right off the start told us to feel like at home and consider them as family. Suleiman as well as the rest of the staff are simply amazing and we have never experienced such closeness and trust with anyone else. These people were our best friends and guides throughout the stay. They always helped us with all the questions we had and they constantly tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible by fulfilling our requests even if they were not direct.
For example, I have expressed interest in trying the papaya fruit for the first time and the next morning I was surprised with fresh papaya from the garden nearby. There are too many things to list, but the staff is simply the best, the owners are really friendly and down to earth, always ready to help, advise, simply have a chat or watch football together.
Most of our trips to other parts of the island were both recommended and then organized by the staff, so we didn't have to worry about anything ourselves. Once we returned, we could always enjoy amazing food. The prices were also really low for such great food, so we always ate there and had only a couple lunches elsewhere. The location itself is also great.
